Food is a common way for illness to spread. Implementing sound food safety and hygiene practices protects the welfare of both your customers and your coworkers. Retail and hospitality food handlers also prepare and serve food to members of the community who are more likely to become ill with food poisoning, or are more likely to suffer serious consequences from food borne illness. Under Australian Government food safety legislation, food handlers, should be trained in food safety and hygiene, or demonstrate adequate skills and knowledge. This Short Course fulfils this requirement.
Course Details:
As Food Handlers, it is important to ensure that you are compliant with Food Safety Legislation. If you are unsure of your obligations, refer to your state food authority for identification of your responsibilities.
