Caring for children is a wonderful privilege. Parents place enormous trust in us when they leave children in our care. It is up to us then, to learn about how to care for children to the highest standard possible. This requires asking questions where necessary, seeking support from co-workers, and developing nurturing relationships with our children, families, and co-workers.

 This course provides an insight to the key areas of childcare, and provides relevant strategies for childcare educators to implement in their day to day interactions with children.

This short course covers:

• Duty of Care
• Provision of a safe environment
• Creating a hygienic environment
• Assisting children with toilet training
• Prioritising supervision
• Stimulating indoor and outdoor areas
• Creating a supportive room
• Guiding challenging behaviour
• Takeaways for a safe and healthy environment

This short course contains a mixture of short videos and quizzes and will take around 2 hours to complete. Upon completion you will receive a certificate for your records.

You will receive access straight away, and your certificate upon successful completion of all videos and questions.
